Location: Long Eaton, Derbyshire (NG10)
Pay Rate: 90- 105 per day
Contract Type: Long-term with a permanent position available
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm
Start Date: ASAP

Long Term Futures are seeking a compassionate and proactive Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and high-performing secondary school in the Long Eaton area of Derbyshire. Situated in the heart of Long Eaton, the school caters to students aged 11-18 and emphasises academic excellence, personal development and community engagement.

Your Role Will Include:

• Delivering tailored 1-1 and small group support to students, particularly those with Special Educational Needs (SEN) .
• Collaborating with teachers and support staff to adapt lesson plans and learning materials.
• Building positive relationships that develop student confidence and engagement with learning.
• Helping create an inclusive, respectful and structured learning environment.
• Supporting students in maintaining positive behaviours.

We're Looking For Someone Who:

• Has experience working with young people, ideally in a secondary educational setting.
• Is confident supporting students with special educational needs (SEN).
• Works well in a team and communicates effectively with students and staff.
• Holds an up-to-date DBS (or is willing to apply for one) and can provide two professional references.
